Terms of Service

These terms apply to every class trip booked with ClassTrip.com. Your school’s trip agreement and your trip’s registration page set the details for your trip: dates, price, payment schedule and deadlines. Where the two differ, your trip agreement applies.

Itineraries

ClassTrip.com itineraries are planned in advance using the best information available at the time. They may change before or during the trip because of factors outside our control.

Parental consent

Students may travel on a ClassTrip.com trip only with the consent of every parent or guardian who has legal authority over that decision. Registering a student for a trip gives that consent.

What is included

What your trip includes is listed in your trip agreement and on your trip’s registration page. Anything not listed is not included. Personal expenses, optional tips, travel insurance and the cost of meeting travel requirements (for example, identification or passports) are not included.

Pricing

Prices are per person and depend on room occupancy (quad, triple, double or single). A traveler without a roommate pays the rate for the room type they occupy. ClassTrip.com may adjust prices if airfare rises because of fuel costs, or if ground costs rise because of increases in hotel rates, bus fares, fees or taxes.

Payments

Deposits, installments and due dates are set in your trip agreement and shown on your registration page. You can pay by card through the online registration portal or by calling (877) 235-0988. You can also mail a check to ClassTrip.com, 401 E Las Olas Blvd, Suite 130-478, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits are non-refundable. Each payment becomes non-refundable once its due date has passed, unless your trip agreement says otherwise. If ClassTrip.com cancels a trip, for example because it does not reach the minimum number of paid travelers, we refund all money paid or, where it makes sense, combine registered travelers with another group.

Travel insurance

ClassTrip.com offers travel insurance through its partner Allianz. We recommend that every traveler consider travel insurance, bought through us or on your own, to cover cancellations, delays and other losses.

Liability

ClassTrip.com does not own or operate the companies that provide goods and services on your trip, such as hotels, airlines, bus companies, local guides, attractions and restaurants. ClassTrip.com, its employees, owners and officers, and your school (together, “ClassTrip.com”) are not responsible for any act, failure to act or default of those third parties. ClassTrip.com is not liable for any damage, injury, death, loss, accident, delay or inconvenience caused by events beyond its control, including weather, strikes, acts of God or government, terrorism or its threat, war, epidemics, quarantine, criminal activity, schedule changes, overbooking, or the lack of medical care. ClassTrip.com is not responsible for losses travelers incur, including lost days of the trip, because of a cancelled flight or other transportation.

Behavior

Students are expected to act safely and to respect others and the places we visit. A student who does not may be excluded from some or all activities and, in serious cases, parents or guardians may be asked to arrange the student’s immediate transportation home. Parents and guardians are responsible for any damage caused by a student’s actions or negligence on the trip.
